The Norman Lindsay Festival of Children's Literature

Celebrate Children's Literature in the Home of The Magic Pudding's 100th Anniversay

The much loved and revitalised Festival of Children’s Literature returns to the Norman Lindsay Gallery in Faulconbridge this September 15 and 16.

A highlight of the Blue Mountains calendar, the Festival promises to be better than ever and will be a great family-friendly weekend out.

Join us to enjoy talks from some of the country’s favourite authors and illustrators. Featured speakers will include Australian Children’s Laureate Morris Gleitzman, Libby Gleeson, Jacqueline Harvey, Matt Cosgrove, Mardi McConnochie, James Roy and Emily Rodda and many more!

There will be free entertainment and a variety of market stalls. Food will be available and all are welcome to bring along a picnic rug and enjoy the tranquil surrounds of the Gallery.

The 2018 Festival of Children’s Literature will also mark the 100th anniversary of The Magic Pudding by Norman Lindsay. Free entry to the Gallery is included with the ticket price and there will be a special display of illustrations from the book as well as a staged reading to delight people of all ages.
